For an app-style view, open the hosted game in your phone browser and choose Add to Home Screen. Landscape gives you more room. Graphics quality can be adjusted in Settings.

HOW TO PLAY

Each run starts with 3 revives. A death spends one and returns you to your last bed (or the entrance). At zero, the next death ends the run and permanently loses all unbanked gold and unvaulted gear, including grave loot. Sleeping never refills revives. Rare Warden's Embers in chests from ring 1 onward grant +1 revive when opened.

• Explore Vaultward — MiniBrain authors rooms as you go.
• Smash pots, clear rooms, open chests, trade with lantern peddlers.
• Deposit gold at the ATM and stash gear in storage before you die.
• Character — pick race, build, hair & colors (saved in this browser).
• Cosmetics unlock forever when deposited — equip them in the Cosmetics tab to style your character doll.
• Buy permanent upgrades with bank gold at the purple vendor (incl. Second Weapon Rack → X swapthe Swap button).
• Equip a full armor suit: helmet, chest, legs, boots. The dark is real — buy a Lantern Harness (this run) or equip a lantern helm to see.
• Use ritual altars to imbue weapons & armor with random powers.
• Bows: hold LMB to draw, release to fire — fuller draw = more damage.
• Staves and hooks fire projectiles — hooks pull foes in. The super shotgun fires a pellet spread, break-opens with shells ejecting, then reloads. RMB aims down sights (tighter spread) instead of blocking.
• Spells (F) — cast from empty hands, wand, or staff. G cycles: Hand Spark · Ember Bolt · Rime Shard · Arc Pulse. Staff LMB bolts use the active spell.
• Kill enough ceiling spiders / tear enough webs and a Web Matriarch may hunt you (venom, sticky webs, melee bite).
• Hit zones — aim high for headshots (most damage), mid for body, low for legs (least). Works with melee and projectiles.
• HUD: health & XP bottom-left · gold top-left · map top-right · hotbar center.
• Sector preload — START RUN loads the spawn sector first (with a progress bar), then keeps generating ahead as you explore.
• Dungeon atlas (M) — big map of rooms you’ve explored + path trail.
• Run History (main menu) — past crawls with explored maps, death markers, gold deposited, kills & deepest ring.
• Treasure map (T) — marks highest-tier loot rooms in your sector.
• Settings — FOV, mouse, sector size, performance mode (main menu & pause).
• Rare mega vaults hide bosses and legendary loot.

• Cosmetics unlock forever when deposited — equip them in Cosmetics to customize your look.
• Equip helmet, chest, legs, and boots for full defense. No free player light — Lantern Harness (vendor, this run) or a lantern helm loot piece.
• Altars imbue gear with random powers for pocket gold.
• Bows: hold to draw, release to shoot (charge = damage). Hooks pull foes in.
• Vaultward — sector rings, rest beds (ring 1+ checkpoints), M atlas pan/zoom, specialty bags, vault waves.
• Rest chambers — rings 1 and above hide a bedroom saferoom with a trader plus the same hub machines as spawn (ATM, storage, upgrade vendor). [E] the bed to rest, heal a bit, and set death respawn there.
